Food Bank Donation

CUPE Local 23 Executive Board Members were proud to drop off a $10,000 donation on behalf of all Municipal and Library Workers in Burnaby. Accompanied by Mayor Michael Hurley and Food Bank organizers. We challenged CUPE 389, CUPE Local 1004, CUPE Local 15, CUPE Local 391, CUPE Local 387 and CUPE BC to donate and help the Greater Vancouver Food Bank feed those in need in the communities we serve!

Emergency Food Outreach

CUPE 23’s Bruce Campbell, Doug Graham and Eddy Torres volunteered at Ryan’s Rainbow a food bank in Burnaby that provides for 103 families every week. CUPE 23 members have been generously donating food and much needed cash. Theresa and her staff are doing amazing work in the community caring for all these families!
